TESTIMONIALS
"The new hairstyle, makeup tips, clothing made a huge difference in my level of confidence as I go about my life. I’ve gotten so many comments from folks who seem surprised that I look like I'm doing so well/healthy. The most special part of this event was being able to share the day with my mom (86yo, taking tamoxifen for breast cancer) and my sister in law. Watching my mom especially receive some pampering was my highlight. She's been there for me in so many ways. Thank you thank you thank you!"
"Support groups are wonderful but they can be downers....this group was for FUN and LAUGHTER...which is so rare when you are fighting for your life. You tend to forget that there are others in the same boat and it is wonderful when you are with these people to have fun and feel happy and forget the reason that brought you together even if it’s just for a couple of hours. It was bliss."
"I cannot put into words what the May 10th experience meant to me. I'm sure it meant a lot of work and effort for you and your crew. It was a day filled with raw emotion seeing women who are now going thru the journey I just finished. It was also filled with joy that we have come out from that dark place and after a few hours feeling proud and pretty. Thank you, thank you thank you!!!"
EVENT SCHEDULE
2:15
Registration

Your first stop will be the registration table. Our volunteers will get you checked in, ask any last-minute questions and assign your group.
Enjoy a breakfast beverage and light bite as you meet other attendees.
2:30
Meet & Greet

This is a very important part of the day. So many of us have been isolated in our disease. We haven't talked to anyone about our experience other than close family or friends.
Here, we get to meet other survivors and caregivers who get it. No judgement, just support.
2:45
Meet with the Pros

Let the fun begin!
You may start in hair, in the makeup chair, or with another professional. Depending on the two services you've chosen ahead of time, your group leader will guide you to other services offered by Clique Salon & Med Spa.
There is a fun, high-energy atmosphere. You may have a few minutes to sit and breathe before your next "assignment", or you may be ushered from one thing to the next in quick succession.
4:00
Early Dinner

Lunch will be served. Step up whenever you have a few minutes. Rest assured we will accommodate your dietary needs if we know ahead of time.
Water will be available throughout the day.
As you're ready:
Photography
Finish around 2pm or earlier

How long has it been since you had a professional portrait taken? A head shot for work, or a family photo may not have been in the cards after your treatment left you feeling disconnected from the person you used to be.
Today, we want you to look in the mirror and see your beauty and strength. Then, we are going to capture that feeling with photographs.
Photographs will happen when you are ready and changed into your outfit. Please bring something you'd like to be photographed in.
