After treatment ends, the demands of work, family, and daily responsibilities don’t slow down — even when you’re still rebuilding strength and confidence. Returning to the workplace, managing home life, and navigating expectations can feel overwhelming.

Power Crew provides professional hair, makeup, and photography experiences designed to help participants feel confident, seen, and ready for what’s next.

Caregivers are equally supported. Their constant care, emotional labor, and exhaustion often go unnoticed — and this day is for them, too.

In the Words of a Survivor

Lynn from Atlanta, GA wrote to us:

“Cancer is a thief that attempted to steal my life, my dreams, my dignity, time, self-esteem and joy. The process left me feeling like I had lost a great deal of the person I was accustomed to seeing in the mirror each day, and that was more devastating than I ever expected.

Even before arriving at the Big C New Me Power Crew event, I was struck by the positive, uplifting tone of emails and instructions. Amy had walked where I was walking and seemed to understand that sometimes the most difficult part of that journey is the road back to finding joy.

The event was positive, fun, and allowed me to meet, laugh and cry with my sisters who have had the same feelings I have had. This event allowed me to forget all the ‘bad stuff’ for a day and just be pampered and valued.”
